About Tasha Tasha Hanish (Erickson) has been shooting since a very young age.  She start out with only the basic knowledge of firearms through family hunting trips.  Tasha and her family began going out to practice at the Medford Rifle and Pistol Club every Thursday night in 1990 as a family hobby.  But not everyone took it as far as she did. After a year of hard work and training from Ray Sherrill & Ed Boening; Tasha began to improve her over classification scores, began winning local matches.  In 1994, she shot her first major match, Western States in Reno, Nevada .  She then continued her instruction with Matt Burkett, Dave Dawson and many other GM shooters.

After being picked up for sponsorship with STI in 1996, Tasha began traveling and shooting more matches.  She now has included Area 1, 2, & 4, Winchester World Challenge, Oregon Open, Golden Gate, Texas Riviera, Texas Limited, North Carolina State, Caribbean Open and Superstition Mountain Mystery 3 gun match wins (ladies, JR and class), to name a few.  She has also placed in the top 8 ladies in every national’s she has shot, with exception of her first nationals in 1995.

Tasha has been mentioned on EPSN, in regards to the 1995 Open Nationals.  She was featured on an Oregon news station (KDRV-12) for Amateur Athlete of the week.  She has been mentioned in Gun Games, Front Sight, Guns & Ammo and Oregon 's local Newspapers (Ashland Daily Tidings & Medford Mail Tribune).

Tasha married Mark Hanish (a GM shooter) in 2006.  With his support and support of her family (including their 2 kids, Daniel (6) and Alexis (2)) Tasha is expanding her shooting career and growing her sponsor list.  She thanks you for checking out her site and hopes to see you on a range soon!
